Paulina (Kapau) Shipahu

Policy Analyst

Paulina (Kapau) Shipahu is a born and bred Namibian who works in the President's Office as a policy analyst. She is also an endurance lover and adventure seeker who stumbled across RacingThePlanet on Facebook 5 years ago.  When the Sahara Race moved to her home country she envisioned herself one day taking part.  In 2017 Kapau completed more than sixteen marathons or halfmarathons with more done and planned for 2018 including her longest attempt so far with Two Oceans 56km in March. Kapau is on a personal journey to being an ultra-runner and her ultimate goal is to tick off the Sahara Race (Namibia) from her bucket list, but for 2018 she is taking the opportunity to observe and learn by volunteering.  We are very happy to welcome Kapau to the Sahara Race (Namibia) 2018 volunteer team for her first time at a RacingThePlanet / 4 Deserts Race.
