Dr. Pearlly Ng earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006. She went on to study medicine at UBC, graduating in 2010, before moving to Toronto and then Salt Lake City to complete her residency and Fellowship. She finished her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Toronto and her fellowship on Wilderness and Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. She has put her natural leadership skills to work both in hospital and event settings. She was the response team leader for a mass casualty simulation in Toronto and provides mentorship to medical students and residents in her career. Dr. Pearlly speaks English and Cantonese and, in her free time, enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking and road riding. She has previously been on the medical teams at the Sahara Race (Jordan) 2014 and the Atacama Crossing (Chile) 2015. Her athletic spirit and medical experience are a welcome addition to the medical team for the Sahara Race (Namibia) 2018.
