My name is July C. Oconer, currently working at Intel as Automation Engineer, and in the process of shifting to Lithography Process Engineering for next Semicon Technology.

To share with you, I shall compete in Racing The Planet 250km self-supported foot race to be held in Atacama Chile on March 3, 2013. My intention is to raise the awareness and funds for the Edu8Me© - EducateMe Institute (NGO), which I formed as I got inspired after having been invited to be the speaker at the commencement exercises in my high school alma mater last March 27, 2012. The mission is to help children get the education they need by building classrooms and ensure them of a quality value-driven education by making it available to them, especially to those who could not afford it. The Foundation aims to also initiate programs such as Career Guidance Seminar, Education Outreach Initiatives, Technological Advancement on Education through Internet and other media. We are committed to perform at the highest level as responsible citizens in every community we touches.  



Our first project is building a classroom in my alma mater in preparation for the K-12 program of the government, which requires new classrooms to be built by 2016. The goal is to lay down the new building foundation before the start of the next school year in June 2013. Once established, we will use this as the prototype of all the projects which the Institute shall initiate and mobilize throughout the country, where education is needed and desired.
