RacingThePlanet welcomes applications from individuals to join its internal media team, as well applications from external media including writers, filmmakers, producers, etc. If you are interested in applying for a position on the internal media team, please read the information below. Official Media Team
RacingThePlanet would like to invite interested videographers, photographers and writers to apply to become part of the official media team for our events.

The official media team is responsible for producing all the live and recorded content for each race including breaking news, stage updates, photographs, VNRs as well as written and filmed feature packages, etc.

Participating in a RacingThePlanet event is an opportunity for a limited number of people to get the chance to work in some of the most remote locations in the world, against stunning backdrops and in fascinating local cultures. The media team will document a world-class sporting event that encompasses both feats of impressive athletic prowess as well as triumphs of courage and determination achieved against overwhelming odds.

Videographers
RacingThePlanet is looking for experienced producer/cameramen who are team players, used to working in an outdoor environment and ideally, but not exclusively, with a background in outdoor, sports/action or journalistic filming.

Photographers
We are looking for experienced photographers who are team players, used to working in an outdoor environment and to daily deadlines, with a background ideally, but not exclusively, in action photography (sport, dance, event etc), or photojournalism.


Writers
We are looking for writers used to working in an outdoor environment, have experience of working to a daily deadline, and are comfortable interviewing participants. Ideally, the writer should have a background in features, PR or news reporting but other applicants who display a passion and aptitude for the role will be considered.
