There 4 days until the start of the race on Sunday, 5 October when 163 competitors will be at the start line in Rio Grande having spent their first night in desert at 3,300 meters / 10,700 feet.
The sun is shining, the course is ready and the wonderful oasis town of San Pedro has started to welcome competitors from 36 countries around the world.
