RacingThePlanet 100 is a unique series of 100 kilometer, single-stage, self-supported, rough-country footraces, staged in some of the most remote, least explored and unique places on Earth. In addition to the 100 kilometer distance there is also the option to do 50 kilometers or a marathon (42 kilometer). For any distance raced there is also a ultramarathon package option which includes accomodation, tours and transfers.
Each RacingThePlanet 100 event takes competitors through a variety of terrains bringing them into contact with unique geographies, local communities and historical landmarks.
The event is open to both teams and individuals, the race is non-stop in a single stage and includes a generous cut-off time of 48 hours. Competitors must carry a selection of mandatory items and pass through up to eight checkpoints to successfully finish the race.
